Course Overview:
This course provides a broad overview of the cosmetics and personal care industry and the role of cosmetic chemistry in the formulation of its products. It is designed with the beginning cosmetic chemist in mind, however, the information presented will also be useful for other groups, as well, including: quality assurance chemists, experienced scientists who want to learn about other areas of formulation, scientists in related industries, college students studying chemistry, and marketing or sales personnel who would benefit from a primer covering the chemistry of their products.
The course has also been updated to include the use of AI tools to aid formulators.
